Plate heat exchanger service
Gasketed plate heat exchangers foul, their gaskets age, and a cracked plate can let two media mix. Plate service brings back heat transfer, stops leaks and protects your product.
Signs it needs service
- Outlet temperature or heat duty falling
- Pressure drop rising
- External leaks at the plate pack
- Product found in the service side, or the other way round
- Gaskets hard or flattened, or the pack at its minimum tightening dimension
What we do
- Dismantling and inspection of frame and plate pack
- Chemical cleaning of plates matched to the fouling
- Crack and pinhole detection on every plate
- Regasketing, glued or clip-on, in the right gasket material
- Reassembly to the correct tightening dimension and pressure test
On site or in our workshop
Plates can be cleaned and regasketed in our workshop while the frame stays in place. For light fouling we clean in place without opening the unit. Spare plate packs keep downtime short.
Where these machines work
A service report with the inspection result for each plate, gasket material, tightening dimension, test pressure and recommendations.
We work on machines from the major manufacturers
Tell us the make, model, serial number and running hours. We use the parts you specify: original manufacturer parts or approved equivalents, and we record every part fitted in the service report.
Losing heat transfer?
Send us the model, plate count and duty. We will advise clean, regasket or replace.
