Separator service and overhaul
Disc-stack separators clean fuel and lube oil on ships and in power plants, and clarify or separate liquids in dairy, beverage, vegetable oil and pharmaceutical plants. They run at several thousand rpm, so small wear soon turns into vibration, poor separation or an unplanned stop.
Signs it needs service
- Vibration or noise rising since the last service
- Bowl takes longer to reach speed, or never reaches it
- Water or sludge left in cleaned oil, or product lost with the sludge
- Leaks at seals and gaskets, or frequent alarms
- Running hours have reached the service interval in the manual
What we do
- Scheduled intermediate and major services at the manufacturer's running-hour intervals
- Bowl overhaul: disc stack cleaning, seal and O-ring kits, inspection for erosion and corrosion
- Spindle, bearings and drive: inspection and replacement
- Vibration measured before and after the work
- Sensors, valves and control checks, then a test run with you
On site or in our workshop
Scheduled services are done at your site. For a full overhaul we can take the bowl to our Sa Kaeo workshop; an exchange bowl keeps your machine running while yours is overhauled, where one is available for your model.
Where these machines work
A service report with the work done, vibration readings before and after, parts fitted and the next service due.
We work on machines from the major manufacturers
Tell us the make, model, serial number and running hours. We use the parts you specify: original manufacturer parts or approved equivalents, and we record every part fitted in the service report.
Separator due for service?
Send us the model and running hours and we will plan the visit.
